Salt Horse specialises in craft beer, with 14 rotating draught lines and over 200 cans and bottles from Scotland, England, Belgium, Germany, Scandinavia, the USA, Japan and beyond. The bar is known for stocking rare and hard-to-find bottles including Cantillon, 3 Fonteinen, Burning Sky, Mills Brewing and Crossover Blendery. Belgian stock includes Trappist ales from Westmalle and Chimay, saisons from Dupont and Brasserie de la Senne, and lambics and gueuzes from Cantillon, 3 Fonteinen, Boon, Tilquin and Timmermans.

The food menu focuses on smash burgers, fried chicken sandwiches, wings and hand-cut chips. Burger mince comes from Butchery at Bowhouse on the Balcaskie Estate in Fife — Lincoln Red cattle, 100% pasture-fed, Soil Association organic certified, dry-aged for six weeks. Vegan options including smash burgers and Nashville hot chicken sandwiches are always available.
